Lesson 2: Personal Schedule
Can explain your work schedule to a coworker.
このレッスンは同僚に自分のスケジュールについて説明するというもの。
主な表現はこちら。
- Can we have a meeting [today]?
- My schedule [today] is a bit tight.
- I have meetings with [the managers] and [the investors] lined up in the [morning].
- I’ll only be free after [1:00 in the afternoon].
そういえば、「今日のスケジュール」を表現するのに、「My schedule today」という語順がちょっと違和感ある...「My today's schedule」かなぁと思うのだけど…？
こういうのを先生に質問できればよいのだろうけど、うっかり忘れてた。むぅ。
VOCABULARY
- investor /ɪˈnvɛstɝ/: 投資家
- onward /άnwɚd/: 以降
- schedule /skédʒuːl/: 予定 ※発音注意
- lined up: 並べられた、立て続けに
Lesson 3: Managing Time
Can reschedule a meeting based on details from an e-mail.
時間があったので、次のレッスンへ。
メールの内容をもとにスケジュールを調整するというもの。
表現はこちら。
- Can we move our meeting [tomorrow] from [10:00 a.m.] to [1:00 p.m.]?
- [Our boss] set a meeting with me to discuss [the progress of my projects].
- Sorry for the inconvenience.
例題で、毎回ボスからじゃんじゃん割り込みのメール来るんだけど…面倒っすね。
VOCABULARY

- urgent /ˈɚːdʒənt/: 緊急の
- Sincerely, /sɪnsíɚli/: 心から

昨日、レアジョブのレッスン100回を突破したのですが、レアジョブからメールが来てて表彰してもらっちゃいました。
実際に使えるようにはなってないですが、過程だったとしても表彰してもらえるのはうれしいね。
