本日は、スケジュールの説明と変更をするというレッスン。
表現はこちら。
- You think the employees need more training? Okay, I’ll hold a workshop for them.
- Oh, she went home already? No problem. I’ll come back tomorrow.
- Sorry, but I already have plans for this weekend. I’m going to go to the beach with my friends.
- Okay, here’s my schedule for tomorrow. I’m going to have a one-on-one meeting with the director before lunch, and then I’m going to be in meetings all afternoon.
話してるときに決めたらwill、話す前に決めてたらbe going toというわけですね。
内容的にはそこまで難しいものではなかったのだけど、正直今日の先生とはいまいち噛合がよくなかったな…。画面オフだったし。
Vocabulary
- itinerary /aitnəreri/: 旅行日程
- shorten /ʃˈɔɚtn/: 短くする
- push [thing] back to [time]: [thing]を[time]に延期する
- take a rain check on [thing]: [thing]をまたの機会にする
push ~ back toとか、rain checkとか、忘れずに使えるのだろうか…こういうのはAnkiに入れないと覚えないよね。

まとめ
Ankiについては、実践ビジネスのLevel 6のやつがまだたっぷり残っていて、実用英会話のLevel 5の追加しても出てこない。
易しいのから順番に入れていかないと効率悪いよね…
背伸びせずにいけば良かったなと少し反省。
