毎週火曜日はフリートークの日。

本日はNew York支店への出張ではじめて支社の同僚と会うというシチュエーション。

I’m [name]. Are you [name]? Kalen
So what exactly will you be doing here?
How are you enjoying New York so far?
Has anyone given you a tour of the office yet?
By the way, we have free doughnuts and coffee in the breakroom. Would you like some?
As you can see, we have little walls between our desks to give us some private space. We call them cubicles. Do you have them in your office too?
In the afternoon I often take a fifteen-minute coffee break at the café downstairs. Would you like to join me today?
Did they tell you about Casual Friday? You can wear jeans that day!
So is your office about the same size as this office?
A few people and I are going out for drinks tonight. Would you like to join us?

で、8分余ってしまったのだけど、フリートークへ。

旅行の話や老後の話など。最近ではわりと話せた。よかった…

次の教材を提案してくれる先生もいるけど、このケースは、フリートークが正解だな。

初見の教材だとそのシチュエーションに合わせた作文が必要になっちゃうから。
