毎週火曜日はフリートークの日。
本日はNew York支店への出張ではじめて支社の同僚と会うというシチュエーション。
- I’m [name]. Are you [name]? Kalen
- So what exactly will you be doing here?
- How are you enjoying New York so far?
- Has anyone given you a tour of the office yet?
- By the way, we have free doughnuts and coffee in the breakroom. Would you like some?
- As you can see, we have little walls between our desks to give us some private space. We call them cubicles. Do you have them in your office too?
- In the afternoon I often take a fifteen-minute coffee break at the café downstairs. Would you like to join me today?
- Did they tell you about Casual Friday? You can wear jeans that day!
- So is your office about the same size as this office?
- A few people and I are going out for drinks tonight. Would you like to join us?
今日の先生、サクサク質問をこなしていく…けっこう準備したんだけどな～
で、8分余ってしまったのだけど、フリートークへ。
旅行の話や老後の話など。最近ではわりと話せた。よかった…
次の教材を提案してくれる先生もいるけど、このケースは、フリートークが正解だな。

音声の文字起こしをする場合は transcribe を使うんですな。
