今日からChapter 5。テーマは「Sprts and Outdoors」。
今回のレッスンは天気の見通しを聞くリスニングのレッスン。
表現はこちら。
- There’s a chance of a thunderstorm this weekend.
- The weather forecast said that the high will be 32℃.
- The low at night will be around -9°C, so definitely bring a warm coat!
- The daytime temperatures should rise soon because it’s almost spring.
- The forecast said the temperature is going to drop tonight.
天気の見通しということなんで、なんとなく来そうな情報はわかるから、リスニングは比較的うまくいった。
いつもこうだといいんだけど。
Vocabulary
- thatched /θætʃt/: 藁葺きの
- falks: みなさん
- thunderstorm: 雷雨
- -9℃: minus/negative nince degrees [celsius]
マイナス~度というのを、negative ~というんすね。minusでもよさそう。
