I can listen to and understand someone talking about making friends.

今日から新しいチャプター「Friendship」。

今回のレッスンは友達を作ること、できたことについて聴いて理解するリスニング。

We sat next to each other on the first day of class and instantly hit it off.
Kyle and I have something in common. We both love sports.
My first impression of him was that he was a little strange.

hit it off...会った最初から意気投合…個人的にはあまりないな。

リスニングパートは先生がかなりゆっくり話してくださったので、ほぼ聞き取れた。

でも、それでいいのか…？

友達か…ここのところ全然新しくできてないな～「Because I'm shy ...」などと説明していたのだが、今思うと本当にそうなのか？という気もしなくもない。

コミュニティでどんどん新しい知り合いができているし、けっこうな頻度で懇親会してた。
