毎週火曜日はフリートークの日。

今日の話題は Married Life。

Do you want to get married?
Are most of your friends married?
What do you think is a good age to get married?
Do you think most people change after getting married?
How’s married life different from single life?
How do you feel about married couples who live apart?
Do many people change their name after getting married in your country?
How do you feel about international marriages?
What marriage milestones do you think are important (ex. your 5th anniversary, your 50th anniversary)?
How has married life in your country changed since you were a child?

中級は話題が高度。でもその分面白い。

ただ、ややプライベートな話題なので、先生に質問するのを躊躇してしまった。

「How about you?」って聞きづらいから、「How about in the Philippines?」を繰り出そうと思ってたのに。

たくさん指摘いただいた。んー、とっさに話すとまじむずい。

I said: going out on next weekend...
Correct: going out next weekend...

I said: My wife always ask me what do you want to eat?
Correct: My wife always asks me what I want to eat.

I said: My some friends got international marriage.
Correct: Some of my friends got married to foreigners.

これ何度も反省しているのだけど、質問をする→関心を示すのは、英会話レッスンとはいえ、会話の盛り上がりがかわってくる。

毎回ちゃんと勇気出して質問をすべし。
