実用英会話Level 6 Chapter 3: Love Lesson 6: Long-Distance Relationships
I can listen to and understand someone talking about long-distance relationships.
恋愛テーマのChapter 3もいよいよ後半戦。
今回は、遠距離恋愛についてのリスニングのレッスン。
- You have to be open with your boyfriend and let him know how you feel.
- He said he would never cheat on her.
- We have some problems, but I think that if we try hard enough, we can make it work.
リスニングパート…詳細はほとんど聴き取れなかったわけなのだが、上記表現が使われるということで、なんとなくこんな話かな？という予想はできて、全体感はつかんでギリギリクリア…でいいのか？というところ。
Vocabulary
- unfaithful /ʌnféiθful/: 不誠実な、浮気をする
- affair /əfέər/: スキャンダル、浮気
- fond /fɑnd/: 好きな、好んで、溺愛の
- segment /ségment/: [テレビなどの]コーナー
- except /iksépt/: ～を除いて
except ...いつも expect と見間違う気がする。

スピーキングテスト
一斉スピーキングテストが開催されていたので参加。
前回のテストは昨年の10月でしたね…なので、5ヶ月ぶり。
結果は…
- CEFR準拠Level B1（高 →C1, B2, B1, A2, A1 ←低）
- RareJob Level 6（高 10～1 低）
良かった。前回より1ランクずつ上がってる…！
正直、全然うまくできた気がしなかったのだけど、今回は「とにかく喋れ！」と事前の説明に何度も入っていたので、そうしたのが良かったのかも。
フリートークのときよりも、たぶん冒頭表現はうまく使えなかったな…
まとめ
スピーキングテストは前回より1ランクずつ上がった。
が、まだまだ先は長い。
