上司からのフィードバックに返答をするレッスンの続き。
CHALLENGEが…まあ難しいこと。
上司からどんな指摘を受けるかは聴くまでわからない。
それで、その聞いた内容に対して、以下のような反応とか、改善案の提案とかをしなくてはいけない。
- I understand where you are coming from, but [my job is stressful].
- can you give me an example of a time when I [had long breaks]?
- Do you think it would help if [I work overtime to finish tasks]?
私の場合「coordination」が聞き取れなくて、結局なんの指摘をされているのかがそもそもわからなかった。キツイ。
最後のDiscussionも時間が余ったので準備なしの項目にトライ。
Do you think feedback helps in improving employee satisfaction? Why or why not?
もちろん従業員の満足度の改善につながるとは思うんだけど、なぜ？って聞かれても日本語でもすぐに答えられないよ…

フリー会話なら自分の守備範囲の会話だし、先生もレベル合わせてくれるけど、守備範囲外で難易度固定のお題でとっさに作文するのは無理でしょ。違うかな。
