本日からChapter 4。テーマはTravel。
今回は、カスタマーサービスの自動応答を聞いて理解するというレッスン。
表現は、to不定詞で目的を表すというもの。これはよく知ってる。
- To speak to a representative, press the pound key.
- Call back during regular business hours to place an order.
リスニングは苦手なのだけど、今回は「きっとこういう内容だろう」というのが予測しやすかったので、比較的無難にクリア。
ただ、Challengeのスクリプトもらうの忘れたのが痛い。

昨日読んだ「英語独習法」を意識してみようと、単語や例文の検索は英辞郎Proを使ってみたりしてみたのだが…
単語の検索結果はいいにしても、例文は超大量すぎて何をどうしていいのやら…かなりモヤモヤ。
で、Google検索で、それっぽい記事を見つけたほうが「なるほど！」となる。
時間をかけないとダメとなると、なかなかきついな…ふーむ。
